6 ways to build better relationships with your customers
As a business owner, it is paramount to build good relationships with your customers. At the end of the day, they are the people who will help your business develop; they’ll give you reviews, suggest your services to others and most importantly, remain a client of your business.
So, how can you build better relationships with your customers? · Well, firstly, communication is key and this is actually one of the reasons why DueTrade was built. Being able to communicate effectively and efficiently can help foster good relationships and build trust between you, as a business owner, and your customers.
· Customer service is paramount in business – no one wants to have to deal with a business owner who is rude or someone who takes forever to respond to customer queries. Go above and beyond for them, exceed expectations – perhaps deliver a service faster than anticipated (if possible!).
· Ask for their opinions. They’ll always be ways your business can improve, and sometimes you may not realise. Therefore, ask for your customer's feedback and opinions, and act on these suggestions, if it’s possible. Customers will appreciate that you’re taking their feedback into account and proactively listening to them. · Acknowledge and value your customers. Show them that you appreciate them. Having long-term clients shows potential new clients that your services or products are worth it. Additionally, long-term customers can give your business valuable reviews, which can encourage people to become one of your customers. · Connect with them. Technology has allowed us to connect in ways we never had in the past and having an online presence can really help you build better customer relationships. It allows you to engage with your customers, ask them questions, and respond to their inquiries.
